[jira] Created: (JETTY-930) CGI Servlets should be able to flush their output

JIRA jira@codehaus.org
CGI Servlets should be able to flush their output
-------------------------------------------------

                 Key: JETTY-930
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JETTY-930
             Project: Jetty
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Servlet
    Affects Versions: 6.1.6
            Reporter: Michael Carter
            Priority: Minor
         Attachments: cgi-flush-jetty-patch.txt

The CGI servlet that comes with Jetty seems to buffer output from a running CGI program without having the option of being able to flush the contents it receives along to the browser as quickly as possible. I believe that this is a useful option to have. As such I've created a little patch to add this option. I hope it is helpful.

[jira] (JETTY-930) CGI Servlets should be able to flush their output

JIRA jira@codehaus.org
In reply to this post by JIRA jira@codehaus.org
Jan Bartel closed Improvement JETTY-930 as Duplicate

This issue has been moved across to jetty eclipse bugzilla:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=396563

If the original reporter could review the guidelines for the patches contributed to Eclipse projects, and then re-attach the patch to the above issue, that would be great.

thanks
Jan
