[jetty-discuss] Release 5.1.5rc0

Greg Wilkins-5

Release candidate 5.1.5 is now available via http://jetty.mortbay.org

This release has a number of minor fixes and a major reworking of the
usage of commons-logging (to avoid classloading issues).

Jetty-5.1.5rc0 - 16 August 2005
+ Fixed component remove memory leak for stop/start cycles
+ Facade over commons LogFactory so that discovery may be avoided.
+ Applied ciphersuite patch from tonyj
 + Authenticators use servlet sendError
 + CGI sets SCRIPT_FILENAME
 + HttpTunnel timeout
+ NPE protection for double stop in ThreadedServer
+ Expect continues only sent if input is read.

Re: Release 5.1.5rc0

Tony Seebregts
Hi Greg,

Just tried out the 5.1.5rc0 release and it has the following error when
using expect-continue and chunked transfer encoding.

WARN  [SocketListener10-1] com.cibecs.server:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Chunking
    at
org.mortbay.http.HttpInputStream.setContentLength(HttpInputStream.java:259)
    at org.mortbay.http.HttpConnection.commit(HttpConnection.java:627)
    at org.mortbay.http.HttpConnection.outputNotify(HttpConnection.java:559)
    at org.mortbay.http.HttpOutputStream.notify(HttpOutputStream.java:546)
    at
org.mortbay.http.HttpOutputStream.outputNotify(HttpOutputStream.java:530)

That patch I sent through fixes this.

regards

Tony Seebregts
