[jetty-dev] Some extra code to support Apache-Felix better?

Hugues Malphettes
Hi everyone,

Caspar reported that we could improve jetty running with Felix by
adding a small chunk of code to the jetty-osgi-bootstrap bundle.
The code respects a behavior documented on the Felix website, is small
and brings no dependency.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=372656

Should we file a "works-with" CQ to clear the IP and add it to our codebase?
I wish we could easily add some automated testing for this.
But in this case even pax-web which are running would not cover it.

Cheers,
Hugues

I don't think it is big enough to qualify as a formal contribution
that would need CQ review.

in this case since it is in bugzilla already we should be able to
apply it and make sure you flag the issue as +1 iplog and it will go
into our next iplog snapshot we ask for.

it would be best if it came as an attachment so we can flag just that
attachment as +iplog, it is a little dropdown box on the attachment
details page

cheers,
jesse
