Summary: Session clears with 2 instances running

Initial Comment:
Hi

I get the request object from the jsp into the bean and do:
req.getSession().set...

when 2 instances of jetty are running, whenever i'd
request a page from server A, server B would lose it's
session data!

it's an embedded instance in my program. each instance
uses different port & temp directory.

How are your paths and cookies organized?
If you have the same context path, then some browsers cannot
have different
JSESSION_IDS for different ports.

So is the session lost or does the ID just get changed?
(and the session probably still exists, just that the
request lost track of it, or ask for the ID of the session
from the other server).

You may want to consider using cross context session IDs
(same ID but different contents).   You needs to call
setCrossContextSessionIDs(true) on both your session managers.

If this still does not work, please reopen this issue, but
with more information.
