java.net.ConnectException at org.mortbay.util.ThreadedServer.stop()

Bugzilla from giacof@tiscali.it
Hi, I've just downloaded and tried Jetty-5.1.5rc0 (previously, I've been using
Jetty-5.0.0).
Now I'm experiencing several problems apparently related to socket management,
as the following one:

18:35:55.764 DEBUG  [Thread-2]
org.mortbay.util.Container.stop(Container.java:143) >03> Stopping
org.mortbay.http.HttpServer@506411

        at URTP$1.run(URTP.java:908)

I got also java.net.SocketTimeoutException in
org.mortbay.http.HttpConnection.handleNext(), occurring when a ProxyHandler has
established a http tunnel. (Note: this doesn't seem to be related with Bug
#1220401, as the same exception is thrown with Jetty-5.1.4)
I'm wondering why all was working fine with Jetty-5.0.0: is there any relevant
change in socket management with 5.1.x release?
Thank you in advance

Greg Wilkins-5

some related fixes have gone into CVS and there will be a 515rc1 later today....
