Re: Running Servlets : plzz Help

espowers

Anurag,

Start here: http://www.mortbay.org/jetty/tut/index.html
Read the complete document before trying to run servlets.

Then read the faq: http://www.mortbay.org/jetty/faq/
Again, read the complete document.

The time you invest in reading these documents will dramatically reduce
your implementation problems. You should do this with any new software.

Make sure you download the jetty package that includes the source and demos.
Most of the config you need will be found in the jetty.xml and demo.xml files.

Regards,
Eric

Re: Running Servlets : plzz Help

Chris Haynes
Anurag,

[Eric Powers gave good advice]

One further suggestion:

Get the Jetty demos up and running on your own machine, then gradually change
them, bit by bit, by substituting your own pages, Servlets etc. for the demo
ones.

That way you can usually isolate any misunderstanding, configuration error, etc.
to a single, simple step.

Chris Haynes
