Problems with apache 1.3.x mod_jk & AJP13Connector with latest svn checkout

Russell Howe
Since updating to the latest svn checkout, some requests are resulting
in apache throwing a wobbly when talking to Jetty over AJP (no, I'm
afraid I don't have any more information as yet, but I'll be running
some tcpdump traces to see if they shed any light on the matter).

As ever, apache and mod_jk's debugging info is less than helpful.

Things were fine with 6.1.0rc3, but as of yesterday's svn checkout,
we're having problems.

Could it be related to the fix regarding AJP & fragmentation?

Almost certainly.... any feedback you can give will be helpful - specially
tcpdump captures

It may be that POST requests are failing. Apache seems to time out
waiting for a response.

More to come shortly.

Ignore that, it's a red herring. POST requests work, it's just that the
request which was failing before happened to be a POST, I guess (nothing
special about the POST - it's not very big or anything).

See JETTY-220 - seems to be a problem with AJP13Connector refusing
initial connections but allowing a retry - bizarre!.
