How to dump logStdErr to a file?

Hi there,
I am trying to dump log standard err to a file.
sth like this doesn't work. any idea how I should do
this?

Hi Xia,

Are you trying to redirect the output of the debug log?

If so, you can either do it on the command line (with unix
it's something like 2>&1 ttt.file), or you can do it
in code by writing a little class that does:

System.setErr(your-printstream-here);

and calling that in your jetty.xml as one of the first things in
the file.
