Having problems migrating from Jetty 4.2.XX to Jetty 6.1.1

Ikonne, Ike

Hi guys,

I am having problems getting my webapp which ran in Jetty 4.2 to run in Jetty 6.1.1; the webapps

looks like they were load based on  debug info from Jetty, but when I try to access the

webapp, it appears that it is “unreachable”.  I would appreciate it if someone could point

me to the right direction; It seems that I am not making any progress getting it resolved.

Here is what my code looks like:

wac = new WebAppContext();

wac.setContextPath("/" + file.getName() + "/*");

wac.setWar(file.getAbsolutePath());

if (wac != null) {

   wacTmpDirFile = new File(hadDir + File.separator

   + "conf" + File.separator + JETTY_ROOT_DIR

   + File.separator + "webservices"

   + File.separator + "webapps");

   wac.setTempDirectory(wacTmpDirFile);

 }

 System.out.println("Setting war file extract true");

 wac.setExtractWAR(true);

 server.addHandler(wac);

Here is jetty log:

Hi Ike,

Try setting the parent handler for your webapp by using one of
WebAppContext(HandlerContainer,String,String) constructor. Something
like this.

wac = new WebAppContext(server, file.getAbsolutePath(),"/"+file.getName());

Thanks!
Nik

Hi Ike,

The context path you assigned for your webapp looks invalid. Try
changing it to "/"+getName()

Thanks!
Nik
