Exceptions when upgrading from Jetty 4 to Jetty 5

jbx
Hi,

I have just tried to upgrade my application from using Jetty 4 to Jetty 5.1.10. It was working perfectly previously, but now it is outputing a lot of Exceptions like the following.

Any idea what has changed in the new version, or what I have to do to avoid these problems?

regards,

Josef

Re: Exceptions when upgrading from Jetty 4 to Jetty 5

Greg Wilkins-5

Josef,

these exceptions are (as the log says) ignorable.
If you turn debug off, you wont see these exceptions

trust me, there were happening in Jetty 4, but were just
reported differently.

cheers

Hi Greg,

OK from what I understood they are just there indicating that the thread was fed up of waiting for new connections.

OK stupid question, how do you turn debug off? I managed to hide them with my log4j configuration, but if there is a better way to not write them at all it would be better.

Thanks,

Josef

Re: Exceptions when upgrading from Jetty 4 to Jetty 5

Greg Wilkins-5

When you "hide" them with log4j, it does turn them off!
well as close as you can get to having them off without recompiling.

cheers
